If ever you get bored with photographing the world around you…as you see it, there are a few options available to you:
- Play with time lapse
- Play with light (light painting for example)
- Play with filters and effects etc
However, there is one area that not many people venture into but when they do, they are hooked!
Not to be mistaken for macro photography where you work on a 1:1 ratio much of the time, micro photography takes you much deeper and closer into this strange world giving you an almost infinite realm of subject matter and things to explore.
To get inspired, check out the 2014 Photomicrography Competition over at UK Business Insider.
