This Lens Strip Shows the Different Focal Lengths of Lenses

Here we cover 16mm, 24mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 70mm, 100mm, 135mm, 200mm, 300mm and 400mm

I just wanted to show you the difference between these 11 different focal lengths from various lenses. The lens strip below shows each image in an ascending order of length. FYI in case you didn't know already, 50mm is the equivalent of what our eyes see so use that as a benchmark.

For any photographer wanting to cover most aspects of photography, the range shown in the above lens strip images is a good start. I only actually used 3 lenses and a 2x converter for this test, so you don’t need to break the bank to cover this range!

Canon lenses used - 16-35mm, 24-70mm and 70-200mm plus 2x converter. At full size, the 300mm and 400mm focal lengths are pretty poor as I used a cheap, third party 2x Teleconverter. Make sure you go for quality rather than lower price. Image quality is everything!
