RadLabs Review

Check Out These Super Cool Photoshop Actions from Totally Rad

For years I have used Kubota Image Tools' Photoshop Actions and still do on practically every job I do. However, for the past couple of years, I have been using another great set of tools for Photoshop. For the past couple of weddings, I have used them A LOT!

Please see quick video review below and/or continue reading.

These actions and effects from Totally Rad really float my boat. I love the way they are so easy to use with huge range of tweaks and adjustments to each effect. Your photos will thank you for using them ; )

RadLabs Review Interface

Once you open RadLab from either within the filter menu or by using the little icon that appears within Photoshop once installed, you are faced with a very simple but powerful interface.

The layout is customisable depending on how you want to work whether it is being able to see (with all the actions handily available to the right);

Just the before image on screen

Both the before and after images side by side (compare)

To the far right, you then have all the adjustment sliders for each effect you load to the image, the histogram, the basic adjustments (brightness, contrast, warmth) and a favourites section where you can host all your favourite recipes.

Another handy tool is the history section. This holds all the information as to which effects and actions you have applied or used. Great if you forget which ones you have applied and which ones you particularly like.
