13 Go Mad at the Lakes!
Updated May 5th 2024: April 2012 saw the members of All Things Photography visit the Lake District in Cumbria. Thirteen of us descended on the beautiful village of Bassenthwaite near Keswick in Cumbria. This was for a 3 day weekend of landscape photography, fresh air and great fun.
The whole area is stunning yet renowned for being fairly wet and the UK had been receiving its fair share of rain lately. However, the weather Gods were kind. Not only did we get some nice sunshine, but we also got some stunning and moody cloud formations. Perfect for landscape photography!
The Lake District is the perfect place for photographers but I think we could have done with a full week. The place is vast with so many photo opportunities we could never get all that we wanted.
