November 7, 2008 08:51 – Photo Recovery Software
Lost photos? Deleted files? Crashed hard drive? Formatted memory card?
If you have ever had that sinking, gut wrenching feeling when you either have a faulty hard drive or hit the wrong button and delete/format all files from your cameras memory card…you will love this.
If you haven’t had that feeling yet, the longer you are a photographer, the closer you are to having it happen to you!
It happened to me during a wedding a few years ago and I lost around 50 images of the most crucial part of the day (the ceremony) when I dropped an external hard drive on a hard surface surrounding a swimming pool! My heart was pounding!!!
Luckily I knew of software that could retrieve those images…just, and it took some time to do as well as it was early days for this type of software back then.
Also, when erasing images from within a camera, there is sometimes an option to “erase all” which is far to easy to do by accident, especially when you are in a hurry and I am sure there are many people that have done that too!
Now there is a new program I have just tried out and and I am extremely impressed with the ease of use and power behind it. Check out the short video below to see how easy and powerful it is. Oh, and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg for that security either!
