How to Get the GH5 Autofocus Working for Vlogging and Stabiliser Use
When I first got the Panasonic GH5 and started watching early reviews, I got so fed up with all the “autofocus problem” videos that hit YouTube I had to stop watching. All this “I’m calling you out” crap and people flying half way across the country to try and sort the issue out like it was some huge peace deal or something…
The cynic in me says it was all for more “thumbs up” and subscribers but what do I know?
Anyway, I always shoot in manual focus and have been incredibly busy using this camera for professional work so I haven’t been hugely active online lately.
I did find some time lately though, to put something together quickly that will hopefully help anyone still having issues with the GH5 that somehow managed to miss all this craziness.
As Panasonic said, the GH5 has a multitude of options when it comes to their focussing system so it is just a matter of setting the camera up to suit whatever it is that you are shooting.
Check out the video below, grab your GH5 and try these settings out. Hopefully they will work for you and make your life a little easier when shooting autofocus with the GH5. Great camera…
