Wedding Photographer in London and Surrey
Nick Stubbs is a qualified, professional wedding photographer in London and Surrey with more than 20 years experience. His company, Pan Photography, was started in Kingston-upon-Thames in the early 1990´s but moved to Spain where it has been operating for most of this decade.
"I have spent the last few years shooting all types and sizes of weddings in all manner of places such as the beach, the mountains, in caves and monasteries but strangely enough, there is no place like home."
Nick recently shot a lively, 250-person Jewish wedding in the Park Lane Hotel in London which he says brought it all flooding back…literally.
"Even though it was the height of summer, the rain was bucketing down outside and even made its way to the ballroom of the Park Lane Hotel where it flooded in through the walls. Luckily it was sorted by the start of the wedding and made no impact on the day whatsoever…it was one of the liveliest and most enjoyable weddings that I have shot."
Pan Photography is now permanent resident in the UK where Nick and his wife are educating their 2 young children. As well as photographing weddings in London and Surrey, Nick is also targeting most of the south coast in places such as;

He is also one of the main photographers for a company operating in Tuscany in Italy and has recently shot a wedding in Florence.
"Although I am still taking on some contracts in Spain and Italy, I am definitely concentrating most of my efforts in the UK. As my children get older I want to spend as much time as possible with them and as glamorous as it sounds, shooting weddings in Europe can take up to a week out of my time that could be spent with them. So, a wedding photographer in London and Surrey is what I am!"
Nick shoots in a mostly laid back "reportage" style and likes to think that he adds his own touch of flair to the images. Many wedding photographers don't think too much about the background when shooting but Nick tends to run about continuously (and silently) trying to make the most of any situation during the proceedings from the most advantageous position.
Most of the packages on offer at Pan Photography include all images on DVD at high resolution in both colour and black and white, a DVD slideshow and designer photobook.
"The way I see it, it is the couple's wedding day and these are their images. Why would I want them on my PC when they would be much more at home on the newlyweds' computer? I always convert every image to black and white during my rigorous processing stage as it is hard to imagine them in black and white otherwise, and I personally prefer monotone…especially in a nice designer wedding book."
