Wedding Photographer in Kent and Surrey, England

Wedding Photographer in Kent – Click to visit website Nick Stubbs at Pan Photography is a professional wedding photographer in Kent covering areas such as Maidstone, Chatham, Herne Bay, Gillingham, Rochester, Ashford, Canterbury and Sittingbourne and also covering surrounding areas such as Surrey and London. Having started Pan Photography in Kent and Surrey in the 1990´s, Nick then moved to Spain for 8 years with the chance to shoot a variety of international weddings at some fabulous locations. "I have been spoilt over the past few years with the opportunity to photograph weddings in some amazing places such as on a Catamaran in Puerto Banus, a cave in Mijas, a converted monastery in the Spanish countryside and some beautiful, traditional Spanish churches and chapels. Even so, I am looking forward to getting back to seeing the historical side of Britain once again with its beautiful churches and cathedrals. I have become terribly nostalgic after 8 years away"

Pan Photography will be relocating back to the Kent and Surrey area at the end of 2006. Nick says this was a tough decision made easier by the birth of their two children over the past couple of years.
"After 8 glorious years in the sun, we decided it was important to bring up and educate our children in the United Kingdom. We actually miss England a lot and obviously want our children to enjoy time with the rest of our family as they grow up (the support network will help too)!
We will hopefully start taking bookings for the 2007 wedding season as soon as possible and look forward to settling back later this year."

Nick certainly won't be the only wedding photographer in Kent so why choose Pan Photography to photograph your wedding?
"I have been a passionate photographer for most of my life, starting at just 13 years old in South East Kent and moving to Surrey in the 1990´s where Pan Photography was born. During my time in Spain I have learnt so much and moved ahead in leaps and bounds, not only in my techniques but also in my attitude towards the whole wedding process.
In this part of Spain (Andalucia), I see many English people setting up in business as a wedding photographer with no formal training or education in professional photography, and it shows.
Because of this, I felt it was necessary to spend a year or two getting professional qualifications under my belt and now hold official licences in both wedding and commercial photography. I am also governed by a British professional body, the SWPP and BPPA (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and British Professional Photographers Association) which helps to put clients' minds at ease when booking us.
We always put the wedding couple first and listen to their needs and on the day itself we just get on with our job and don't get in the way. We are friendly and love what we do and this shows in our work.
We also keep in close contact with the couple right up to the final week when we will do a complete "dry run" to check driving times, weather, lighting as well as look for some beautiful spots for those special shots."

Pan Photography has always moved with the times and now shoots entirely digital with a "reportage" style to their photography.
"We find that nowadays, people want to relax and enjoy their day without being pushed around and intimidated by the wedding photographer as would sometimes happen in the past. We record the day in an "as it happened" way that you will remember in years to come but obviously include any requested set up or posed shots as and when required.
It took a while, but digital photography has now reached the point where it surpasses film not only in image quality but also in the ease and flexibility of processing. We use all high end professional equipment (some waterproof for those "non Spanish" days), and personally process each and every image to a very high standard.
I have spent the past 4 years mastering digital imaging, not so much to "jazz up" the wedding photography (although this is of course possible), but more to be able to refine the images with incredible attention to detail such as cleaning up and removing litter, dirt, stains and other blemishes unnoticeably from each photograph."

Pan Photography offer a wide variety of services for your wedding photography whether you are having a simple blessing or registry office wedding, or a full scale church or location wedding.
"We understand that every wedding is different and the requirements can change from day to day. We do have a standard price list but we recommend that in the first instance, people contact us with details of the wedding day and we can tailor a bespoke service to suit their needs.
We will cover the entire day from the bride getting ready at home right through to the reception in full swing. Any other special requirements you have, just let us know…anything is possible! We also try to keep our prices affordable especially so with regard to the reprints for family and friends."
