Wedding Photographer Dorset - Nick Stubbs is a professional wedding photographer in Dorset with over 25 years experience covering areas such as Bournemouth, Southampton, Dorchester, Weymouth and the entire South West of England.

He has also shot international weddings in a variety of stunning locations throughout the world ranging from a very small wedding in a small, dark cave in Mijas (Spain), to huge weddings in the Savoy in Florence (Tuscany, Italy), the Park Lane Hotel in London and the Ritz Carlton in Marbella (Spain).

"I have been an official witness (as well as professional photographer) at a 2 person "eloped" wedding in Spain and I have shot 300 person weddings in high class venues all over Europe. I treat both exactly the same regardless of size or location...I love them all!"

His wedding photography style is unobtrusive and reportage in nature, mixed with the more traditional and contemporary elements. In other words, he shoots weddings as he sees them unfold from a "spectators" viewpoint grabbing great candid shots from the day and also mixes in the more traditional group and classic portrait style photos.

This ensures that he doesn't get in your way and manages to capture events and "goings on" that the bride and groom rarely see! Add to this the fact that he also captures small video clips of certain moments that are intertwined into your multimedia slideshow, and you have all-round coverage!

"I have been interested in photography and imaging in general for as long as I can remember. I started toying with Super 8 Cine films when I was about 10 years old and got my first "real" SLR camera at just 13, and now at 42 years old, I still have the same passion for imaging as I did then. I never get bored with taking photos and weddings are my favourite form of photography.

Every wedding is different...you get to meet so many different and wonderful people at different venues all over the world. People are generally happy and having a good time and I also get to try some amazing food if I am lucky! Now that my children are 4 and 6 years old, I mainly shoot weddings in the UK as I miss out on too much when I am away."

Dear Nick,

I've just watched the video you put together for the umpteenth time, and I'm still astonished with the way you've captured so perfectly the laughter, light and love of that beautiful day. You were remarkably inconspicuous, and managed to take such intimate and natural shots.

As the rain pours down outside, I'm feeling again the warmth and sunshine (weren't we incredibly lucky with the weather?) and the happy, relaxed atmosphere that so many have commented on to us. My only problem with it is that however many times I watch it, I still get pink and moist around the edges. Thank you so much for such a wonderful reminder of a glorious day.
