Dave Allison L.R.P.S. is a portrait commercial and wedding photographer in Inverness way up in the Scottish Highlands.
He started his photographic "journey" as a young boy scout in Glasgow where he learned the art of developing and printing black and white film.
Later as a merchant seaman he photographed many countries and continents including Africa, North and South America, Australia, Japan and Europe. He got into shooting weddings in the 1970´s when a bride spotted an award-winning shot of some trees taken by Dave.
He says that even after 30 years of shooting weddings he, like many of us, still learns something new each time.

In 1991, Dave Allison became a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society and in 1994 he went online and had the 5th wedding related website in the whole of Scotland…how times change!

…"My photography begins at the ceremonial venue, just before the guests arrive and continues until the reception venue where I will set up shots of cutting the cake.
