Model/Portrait Photography

Anamaria and I had an idea for a photo that we wanted to take and made the most of the time we had after an evening lifestyle shoot. We had literally packed everything away and people were leaving as the owners of the house we had borrowed wanted to enjoy the rest of their evening.
Anamaria quickly threw on this jacket and necklace and stepped out onto the terrace of the villa. It was fairly dark but the town lights were shining in Marbella in the distance, so to blow them out and create a black backdrop I used a relatively fast shutter speed which didn't give the light time to "settle" on my sensor.
I used one large softbox attached to one studio light placed directly in front of Anamaria. In fact I had to stand right in front of it and in the original image you can see my outline inside the white box in the reflection of Annamarias eyes.
Still, we took about 5 very quick shots and were both pleased with the result in this particular photo. Like I have said before, if you have made the effort and have a nice surrounding, get as many pictures as you can in the time that you have.
Exposure: 90th/sec F9.5
