Here we "borrowed" a beautiful villa for some lifestyle shots with some models that we "borrowed" from the sales and marketing departments at a real estate company in Spain.

Matt here, wore some excellent clothes including this hat which set the scene for a lazy lifestyle image of living in the sun. The gardens, background, pool and weather were perfect so all I needed for this shot was Matt and the glass of Champagne.

The colours were enhanced in Photoshop but for me, the blues and whites of the pool and sky compliment his clothes perfectly.

The important thing to remember here is the rule of thirds. If I had placed Matt in the center of the image, it just wouldn't have worked as well. If in doubt, take a bunch of shots and choose later.

In fact this is a golden rule of photography, if you have the time and have made the effort to set up a particular shot, take as many different shots from as many different angles as possible otherwise your time may have been wasted.
