Portrait Photography

I hope she won't mind me saying this as Chloe is a lovely girl, but this shot typifies your average 14 year old teenager for me.
She has a kind of sultry, sulky look with her head in her hands and a "non-plus" expression on her face. Even though minutes before she had been laughing and jumping about on a trampoline outside, this is just how I see this particular shot, and this is the reason why I converted it to black and white as it tends to add to the mood.
By playing about with the curves in Photoshop, I ended up with this subtle, "rasterized?" effect. Not really sure what to call it but I liked it so it stayed. The image has also been cropped to get in close on the face and expression. Beautiful eyes!
