Photoshop/Editing Tips
Still life/Commercial Photography

This wasn't really taken for any commercial job as such, it has however, been downloaded by a few people on one of the stock agencies that I submit to.
I was halfway through shooting the interior of a property for sale, when I came across this piano. I needed a break anyway so I reeled a few shots off for my own pleasure.
Even though I can't play that well, I have always loved the piano and its sounds which is why I guess I took this shot. I have kept it clean and simple and carefully removed any wording, trademarks and names from the music and instrument, so that it can be used for stock.
When submitting work to stock agencies, it is vital that you check and double-check your images for these things as they will just be returned for you to correct anyway. Remove any recognisable names, copyrights, logos and trademarks etc., using Photoshop or any other good photo editing software.
Also, keep things clean and simple and try to include "spaces" that can have text added to later when the designers get hold of them. For more info on stock agencies and selling stock photos, go to selling stock photography
