Jess was a pleasure to photograph and for this shot, I got on her level, literally! Lying on the floor and making strange noises, can grab the attention of the most playful of children.
You just have to do it and look a fool sometimes! It is usually a good idea for the mums to leave the room for a bit, this stops the child from seeking their attention.
Once you feel comfortable "Acting the Fool", you will be surprised at how many different shots you take, and how quickly the ideas come to you.
