Saint-Louis is the third biggest city in Haut-Rhin and it is located in the region called Sundgau, close to the borders with Switzerland and Germany Like many photographers today, Vincent started out in the 1980īs using film photography with his own black and white darkroom but has now entered the digital age, although still uses 35mm and Medium format film cameras for much of his work. His work in and around St Louis in France includes landscape, travel, studio and industrial photography and he has mastered a technique to capture macro, table-top close-ups and scanograph subjects with the greatest of detail. Having studied telecommunication and electronics, Vincent could be considered a photographic technician which is a marvellous trait for attention to detail when photographing industrial and commercial subjects.
