Second Hand Canon EOS 1D Mark III for sale (serial no. 528495) - If you haven't used the Canon EOS 1D Mark III before, you are in for a treat. This camera is fast, sturdy and full of great features...and it looks super cool too! I have had no focussing issues or anything else with this camera, it has worked perfectly with the following lenses:

50mm f1.4, 16-35mm f2.8 L, 24-70mm f2.8 L, 70-200mm f2.8 L, Sigma 105mm f2.8

So why am I selling it?

I have just been offered the chance to work with a Canadian company shooting high end properties and they need larger file sizes than the 1D Mark III produces (10mp). My lovely and faithful 5D is, after years of amazing service, past its "sell by date" and will now become a doorstop/paperweight/soft-furnishing, so I need an upgrade (5D Mark II) to reach the required file sizes (that's my excuse anyway).

I am quite reluctant about this as the 1D III is the "dogs doo dahs". However, I must admit that this camera is not what I need for the photography I shoot right now as I am moving towards more commercial work, although I will definitely miss it at weddings...it is an amazing "stealth" camera for candid's. Fast and silent and also perfect for nature and sports.

What is its condition?

Boxed with all bits and pieces and absolutely mint! No marks to be seen anywhere, no scratches, no dust inside or out. It is in "as new" condition. I have shot less than 10,000 images with this as it has been used predominantly as a backup/second camera for weddings shot last year.
