Animal Stock Photography - From Antelope to Zebra
Animal stock photography can sometimes be costly and difficult to get. For example to get any photographs of wild animals in their own habitat or environment, you may need to fly off to some far away countries such as Kenya, India, Canada or even the Antarctic. Photographs of certain animals in their natural surroundings (as opposed to a zoo or wildlife park), can have a much greater and pleasant effect to the onlooker. To save you a trip to the Serengeti or Sahara, why not let your own animal (your mouse) do the work.

For a bit of inspiration on your animal stock photography, here are a few animals, birds and insects to jog your memory;
Aardvark, Antelope, Alligator, Badger, Baboon, Bat, Beetle, Butterfly, Bobcat, Bison, Bullfrog, Bird, Cat, Camel, Caribou, Chimpanzee, Crocodile, Chinchilla, Cow, Dog, Duck, Deer, Dragon, Donkey, Elephant, Eland (Type of Deer), Elk, Egret, Eel, Fish, Flamingo, Frog, Fox, Gibbon, Gecko, Geese, Goose, Goat, Guinea fowl, Heron, Hornbill, Hippopotamus, Indris, Iguana, Ibis, Insects, Jaguar, Jackal, Kookaburra, Kimono Dragon, Lemur, Llama, Lizard, Leopard, Lion, Magpie, Mongoose, Monkey, Marmoset, Monitor, Marmot, Nuthatch, Owl, Oryx, Ostrich, Otter, Penguin, Parrot, Pig, Polecat, Python, Pigeon, Pheasant, Quail, Raccoon, Rhino, Roadrunner, Squirrel, Scorpion, Snake, Sheep, Skunk, Stag, Stork, Swan, Tasmanian Devil, Thrush, Tapir, Tarantula, Tortoise, Turtle, Terrapin, Urial, Vulture, Viper, Whale, Wombat, Xantus, Yak, Zebra.

When conducting your search for animal stock photography at World of Stock, try and be more specific as to what you are looking for, that way you won't end up with ALL animals on one page. It also helps if you type in what the animal is doing, like "jumping cat" or "leaping tiger". If you can't find it still, move the text around like "cat jumping" and tiger leaping"
Every time a photographer submits photos for stock agencies, they add their own keywords, so it helps if you imagine what the photographer would type too.
World of Stock have over 2,500 Animal images (whether domestic or in the wild) from all over the world and taken by some of the finest photographers there are.
