September 1, 2008 14:50 - Canon Vs Nikon Cont'd...
Just three weeks from Photokina 2008 (23rd-28th September) and Canon and Nikon both fire early warning shots across the bow with the release/leaked news of two new models.
Canon announced/leaked news of the new EOS 50D and Nikon followed up with the D90 featuring the new High Definition video mode.
Both have their good and bad points but it wouldn't be fair to compare as they are in different "leagues".

September 8, 2008 10:42 - Digital SLR Course UK
As well as adding dates for our Wedding Photography Courses, we have now added a date for our Digital SLR course being the 18th October 2008
The course is held at the Beachcomber Guest House right on the seafront in Weymouth, Dorset so weather permitting, we are able to pop out for some hands on practice without any travelling.
The course covers the DLSR in general, what all the buttons do and why you would/would not want to use them as well as giving advice on how to deal with all manner of situations from fast moving subjects to low light. Camera settings, apertures, shutter speeds, ISO, lenses, metering, flash...everything really, in a nutshell.

September 18, 2008 20:00 - Canon EOS 5D Mark II
I don't know, I wait with baited breath for news of the EOS 5D's successor and Canon decide to release details when I go away for 3 days!
I have been in Spain shooting a wedding and whilst there you may have noticed that the forum decided to throw a wobbly too! Still it is all fixed now.
Anyway, here is the low down on the Canon EOS 5D Mark II...a worthy contender for my hard earned...
